Catherine Sennett, Esq., Announced As Award Recipient At Philadelphia Business Journal's Women of Distinction

PHILADELPHIA, PA - Philadelphia Business Journal announced that Catherine Sennett, Esq., PathWays PA’s Board Secretary, has been selected as a 2014 Women of Distinction award recipient. Sennett will be recognized along with the region’s most dynamic women on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 5:00pm to 8:30pm at Vie, a Cescaphe Event Group Venue, 600 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA.

"I am so excited to be named along with such talented individuals," said Sennett about receiving this prestigious award. “Philadelphia Business Journal’s Women of Distinction highlights the skill and expertise that so many of our region’s women bring to the workplace each day.”

In addition to Sennett’s work as a partner at Jackson-Cross Partners, LLC, she also makes time to serve at organizations whose mission she supports, such as PathWays PA. “The work of PathWays PA is vital to ensuring that all families have an opportunity to become self-sufficient,” said Sennett.

“We would like to congratulate Cate Sennett on this honor,” stated Brenda Dawson, PathWays PA President/CEO. “Cate has been a valuable member of our board and is committed to helping women and families throughout the region.”

Presented by PNC Bank, the event will bring together 400 of the region's newsmakers for networking and an inspiring awards ceremony. Winners will be profiled in a special section of the Philadelphia Business Journal's November 21 weekly edition. A day of event raffle will benefit the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).

"We had numerous high-quality applications for Women of Distinction this year, and my only regret is that we couldn't honor more," said Craig Ey, Editor-in-Chief, the Philadelphia Business Journal. "This year's class of winners embodies all of what makes the Philadelphia region great. They are talented, passionate about whey they do and committed to personal, professional and community success."

In addition to the Women of Distinction Winners, PBJ and The Forum of Executive Women will honor two companies with the "Advancing Women Company Award," issued to Global Winner: Hamilton Lane and Local Winner: Lamb McErlane for supporting women in the workplace.
