Conference Call on Human Trafficking: June 10

From our friends at WOMEN'S WAY.

What is human trafficking? Who does it impact and what can you do to help?

Here in Philadelphia and across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania we are experiencing a human trafficking crisis. Join us at noon on Thursday, June 10, 2010, for a lunch time conference call with WOMEN'S WAY staff and members of our community as we update you on our recent efforts to combat human trafficking in our region.

The call will start promptly at noon and will wrap up before 1:00 pm with time included for questions and answers. Kindly, rsvp via e-mail to Jamie Lemisch, Manager of Individual Giving or call her at 215.985.0333 x232 and she will provide you the phone number for the conference call.

While human trafficking impacts both women and men, it is an issue that drastically affects women - 80% of transnational human trafficking victims are women and girls.
