Philadelphia Tax Payers Offered Tax Amnesty

For the first time in nearly 25 years, the city of Philadelphia is offering a one-time limited opportunity for individuals and businesses to clear their tax debt to the city. This offer will not last long, so debt holders are encouraged to act quickly!

From May 3 to June 25, 2010, eligible taxpayers who make a payment on their debt will not be charged any penalties. Additionally, the interest owed on the debt will be cut in half. Those, that do not participate in program by June 25 will have their debt turned over to a third party, such as a lawyer or a collection agency, and may have to face additional penalties of up to $5,000.

For more information about Philadelphia’s Tax Amnesty program, or to start your application today, please call 1-877-645-4108 or visit their website.
