Is Your Region Hard to Count?

(h/t Nonprofits Count)

On the Michigan 2010 Census Planning Website, a tool is now available that can show the difficulty of getting an accurate Census count for any Census tract in the nation. Using mail non-response, housing indicators (for instance, renters versus non-renters), socioeconomic status and demographics, this tool rates each tract on a scale of 0-132. Using this information, you can get a sense of some of the barriers to the Census that exist already among your clients.

Have you tried this tool yet? What do you think?
