Come Meet the HeroesPath Staff on Veterans Day

The HeroesPath staff will be participating in Veterans Day activities throughout the community to thank Veterans for their service and discuss how the HeroesPath program can help Veterans successfully transition to civilian life and civilian employment. Be sure to say hello to the HeroesPath staff when you see them at the following events:

Delaware County Veterans are invited to a breakfast hosted by State Representative William Adolph at Paxon Hollow Country Club, from 8:00am to 9:30am at 850 Paxon Hollow Road, Media Pa 19063. Free breakfast to honor the service of our veterans, as well as representatives from the DMVA and Herbert Fouch, HeroesPath Veteran Navigator to answer any questions veterans may have. RSVP by November 10 to Kyle Rice, Constituent Outreach Specialist at 610-544-9878.

The 55th Annual Delaware County Veterans Day Parade starting at 11:00am on State Street in Media. Our own HeroesPath Veteran Navigator, Herbert Fouch, Combat Veteran 2004-2005 Western Iraq, will be walking the parade route, please come out and join him.

MacDade Bowl – located at 2105 MacDade Blvd in Holmes PA are pleased to invite all vets, all active service members with their families to bowl from 10:00am-4:00pm. They will offer 2 games with shoes free for service members. Family members will be $2.00 each for the 2 games with shoes. Please contact Dee Gilchrist at 610-532-9044 for further information. A HeroesPath Veteran Navigator will be there from 2:00pm to 4:00pm to assist those vets in need of jobs and support services.

Applebee’s - Free meal available from open to close for Vets and Active Duty Military . Call your neighborhood Applebee’s to see if they are participating and for detail of proof of military service. The Havertown and Folsom Applebee’s are participating and they are located at 1305 West Chester Pike, Havertown, 610-449-2295 and 320 MacDade Blvd in Folsom, 610-461-7575. A HeroesPath Veteran Navigator will be at the Folsom location from 11:00am to 1:30 to assist those vets in need of jobs and support services.

Llanerch Diner – 95 E Township Line Rd, Upper Darby, PA 19082. The HeroesPath program has partnered with Llanerch Diner to provide a discount for all Military Veterans on Veterans Day. All vets will receive free coffee and 15% discount off of breakfast, lunch and dinner, meals only. Call 610-789-6057 for further information. HeroesPath informational materials will be in the vestibule.
